If you order bespoke items

To ensure the process works smoothly I have the following policy.

  1. We will discuss your requirements. I will check measurements, materials and any other details with you to make sure you are happy.

  2. Once you are happy with the proposal a 50% non returnable deposit will be collected to secure the order. 

  3. If you prefer you can pay the full 100% of the cost up front. 

  4. When the order is complete I will contact you to arrange collection/delivery. At this point the final 50% of the payment will be due.

Shipping & Returns

Packaging

I often use recycled packaging materials, choosing to use paper and card in place of plastic. Some plastic, however, may be used for some items, e.g. bubble wrap.

Postage costs

Currently, this is a flat rate charge. This is the simplest system, but at times this is above the actual cost of the parcel.

Current costs per order are:
UK £4.50; US, £85 (* see below); Europe (**not the EU) £12.50; Australia, NZ and the rest of the World £18.00.

International or large orders

If your order is sent by courier, either within the UK or Internationally, you will need to provide your telephone number. This is required by the courier, so that they can contact you in case of any issues. Your telephone number and email address will be shared with the courier as this is needed to process a shipment. I will not keep your number, or use it to call you.

International orders - Customs and Duties

I will try and post orders worldwide. Any import duties, customs, additional taxes or fees that are applied on delivery are the responsibility of the customer or recipient.

I have no control over when or for how much these fees are charged (it varies by country, city and package). The fees are not included in the price at checkout. As the sender of the parcel I am not able or liable to pay them ahead of time, or to attend to them on your behalf.

*Orders to the US

New export/import tariffs to the US from the UK are currently in place, which means that some extra costs may be added to any parcel sent to the US. I will discuss this with you.

Returns

If you are not completely satisfied for any reason, you can can return the items according to this policy.

To return an item, contact me within 7 days of the purchase date to let me know what the issue is. You can ask for a refund, but you will pay the return postage and the returned items must be new and unused, and returned in the original packaging. It is preferable that you return the items using a tracked service.

After receiving your return, and checking the condition of your item, I will process the refund - please allow 7 days for this, from the receipt of your returned item. I will let you know by email that your return has been processed.
